Just after releasing his latest EP ‘Archives’ (Berceuse Heroique, 2018), multifaceted British DJ George Thompson aka Black Merlin will play a DJ set at MIRA Berlin. He’s very well-known for being able to play all kinds of clubby dark music in all ranks of tempo, and that’s what he’ll show us on May 5: A brilliant talent dancing between EBM, industrial techno and space disco.

Being a follower of field recording and author of many releases experimenting different nooks of electronic music, it was the great ‘Hipnotik Tradisi’ (Island Of The Gods, 2016) and his singular way of assimilating the traditional Balinese music which lifted the veil on this full-fledged artist.
